#5 acoustic blues meets tribal drone [SOLVED]

Today we have a discarded bit from a project of mine, where I was trying to combine my love for old blues, loops and then drone music (somewhat a tribal feel in there too) but wasn't satisfied with the result enough to do anything with it.

Here it is:

Can you guess the original behind this sampled tidbit?

If you can't figure it out, clues will be provided along the way.

Clue #1: One of the first to get screwed over royalties, or at least to get vocal about it.

Clue #2: He once wrote a song for a royal figure that became very popular.

Clue #3: He was no sadist in the boudoir.

Matthias over on youthink.com has figured the artist: Arthur "Big Boy" Cruddup, and then the song, which can be sampled right here
